Last Tuesday it was that time again - from all corners of the country information managers, application managers and care providers came to Hotel Breukelen for our annual customer day! We look back on a pleasant day with interesting (guest) speakers and enthusiastic participants.
Couldn't be there this year or are you curious what to expect from a CODE24 customer day? In this little report we give you an impression.
After our director Martin started the day with a fun trip down memory lane about the founding of CODE24, account manager Gos shared recent developments with the participants. What has been developed, what have we achieved, what projects are underway?
The new customer requirements process was also explained and light was shed on the roadmap. One of the things planned is the development of our own open platform. Gertjan Bult, our Open Platform Project Leader, explained how open platforms have an important role to play in achieving true data availability in healthcare.
Besides speakers from CODE24 itself, there were several nice sessions given by external speakers. Martijn Hollemans of AusserhoferBos on one of those projects: the implementation of our mConsole EHR at GGZ NHN. In addition to the course of the project, Martijn shared some important learning moments. Among other things, he emphasized the importance of making choices during the implementation process. You can never be prepared for everything, so make a choice and make the most of it.
That IT implementations are change management trajectories was evident in the stories of both Martijn and Michelle de Groot. They shared how the Admission24 module has been implemented and is now being deployed at Arkin. Arkin uses a so-called 'aircraft system' for addiction care, in order to schedule multiple patients on one bed. This process has now been made possible within Admission24 .
The launch of the Lab24 module at Dimence is a very recent development - they went live in early October. Arjan van Dijk of Dimence shared how the process had gone. They had clear goals for this: to improve and speed up lab requests and lab results from Dimence Group to the lab and back to Dimence. It was important to be able to work paperless and use a timely signal function.
Here and there, the various sessions already triggered some nice interaction between the speakers and participants, and several conversations continued during lunch.
Gertjan's session on the possibilities of open platforms already triggered a bit of a discussion - this was a nice starting point for the already planned panel discussion on open platforms, in which the attendees actively participated.
It was good to see how enthusiastic most participants were about the concept of the open platform - of course it raised questions about how to achieve this. The concept is innovative and also in the market such discussions are currently being held at all levels.
We ended the day with a fun interactive quiz. The winner could go home with 'Alkmaar's Gold'... A delicious cheese gift basket, with a cheese from Alkmaar. There were several close winners, but in the end Henk from Dimence took home the prize.
After the quiz, we had a drink and all participants received a little gift - a goodie bag that included a beautiful glass CODE24 Dopper.
Our team is basking in the afterglow of an enjoyable day - it's always great to see and talk to our customers in person. We are already looking forward to next year!
