Hi Gos! What do you do at CODE24?
"As an Account Manager, I deal with maintaining the relationships with our customers. I keep track of what is going on with them and share with them what is going on at CODE24. Making a personal connection is very important to me. Of course, I also always look for opportunities and areas for improvement - what problems are they facing? How might CODE24 be able to help them? There is nothing better than being able to say, "We can solve this for you!" Ultimately, that is what everything we do is all about: we want to make healthcare better and by listening carefully to the client's wishes, I want to contribute to this.
I also give demos of our EHR and the individual modules - something I find super fun to do. It is often on site at the customer's office, so you get a good idea of what things are like inside an organisation and what kind of people work there."
What does an average workday look like for you?
"I grab a big cup of tea and start with my mail and my daily schedule. I really like structure! Then I often have several meetings and calls with clients. I make offers and follow up on them. In between, I also look at LinkedIn, at what is being communicated in the market and by our customers."

What skills are most important for your role?
"Obviously you have to be a strong communicator, that is the core. You have to be able and willing to listen well to build rapport. In addition, it is important that keep your word. You make hard agreements with the customer, so you have to be organisationally strong to fulfill these agreements on time and in full and, where necessary, get colleagues on board to achieve this."
What do you like most about your work?
"The contact with our customers of course! I think it is cool to make a real connection with the people I talk to, and it is especially nice when I can solve a problem for them.
I briefly mentioned the demos earlier - I really enjoy driving there as well, with some nice loud jazz on. And I sing along, obviously!"
What would you like to achieve?
"I like to communicate our mission and vision well and to help make sure that all Dutch healthcare organisations know what we do and what we stand for. I also want clients to know that I hear them at all times - that they know that if they ask me for something, I get it sorted for them. I am a doer and they should reap the benefits of that."
What do you think people should know about CODE24?
"How much fun our team is! And also: that we do everything with the goal of improving healthcare. That is what drives everything we do. The commercial part truly is secondary here. Any company can say this, we live it."
